I told her he was a Yorkshire Terrier and said I could leave my puppy with her and shop downstairs while I waited the 45 minutes for him. After about half an hour of looking around downstairs in Pets at Home I could see the young lady walk out of the Groom Room with my puppy in arms and go over to talk to the receptionist on the Vets practice. She placed my puppy on the counter and immediately I assumed there was a health problem with my puppy, so I listen as she spoke the the receptionist. To my dismay she held my puppy up and proceeded to tell the Vets practice receptionist that my puppy was reported to her to be a Yorkshire Terrier and that he looked nothing like a Yorkshire Terrier and that is what the lady who brought him had said. The receptionist agreed he looked nothing like a Yorkie and the young Groom Room employee rolled her eyes and said that is what the owner said. I was down stairs in Pets at Home listening in disbelief that myself and my puppy was being treated like this and that the staff could put his safety at risk by taking him out of the Groom Room without my permission what he could have jumped of the counter she had placed him on or out of her arms as she held him up and carried him. My Yorkshire Terrier is a Chocolate and Tan Yorkie, 3rd generation pedigree and this in itself shows the lack of knowledge and respect that this employee has. Extremely unhappy customer, do not trust them with your precious furry friends.
